Carrie Thompson

Co-founder of Blue Pear Productions, Carrie brings more than 10 years of event and program management experience to the company. In her prior leadership role as senior program manager for a nationally known event and marketing company, Carrie was responsible for strategically managing client relationships and logistical teams by generating leading-edge, technology-driven events and campaigns. Prior to this, Carrie was the senior events manager for a leading provider of portal software for Fortune 500 companies in Silicon Valley, managing the North American events division and electronic seminar series. From 1996 through 1999, Carrie held the position of program manager at a cutting-edge event management firm in San Francisco, overseeing the project teams for some of the company's top accounts.

Carrie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Ohio State University, and is a member of Women for Children, a volunteer organization raising money and awareness for Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Portland, Oregon.

Tracy Welch

Before co-founding Blue Pear Productions, Tracy worked in the advertising and public relations (PR) fields for nearly a decade— practicing and refining her marketing, communications and PR skills, and playing a key role in successful public relations campaigns. As a senior account executive with a top advertising and PR agency in Portland, Oregon, Tracy managed each PR endeavor, cultivating significant media and client relationships and executing campaigns and events. Her careful follow through, articulate communication and positive, humorous nature have helped her build solid, long-term relationships with media, clients and vendors.

Tracy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations from the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication. She offers volunteer PR and event-planning services to Women for Children— a volunteer organization that raises money for Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Portland, Oregon.
